 This notion floated earlier in this thread that Tom is somehow hiring a staff that won't work for Marrone so that he can fire the coach and take over is utter nonsense.

Agreed. 


 

 
My only concern wasn't with the hires themselves - I was simply worried that the dynamic between Marrone and Coughlin could become less than ideal if Marrone was simply deferring to Coughlin repeatedly.  

 

I don't believe that to actually be the case currently, I just don't want it to happen.  I'd prefer some checks and balances to a dictator situation.
