The Defenses ranking is misleading....but it goes both ways.

Yes they ranked highly in yards allowed but at the same time gave up way too many points.

Some of that was because of the offensive issues(turnovers,3 and outs,pick 6's) and also poor ST play(short fields).

But as was pointed out they did give up too many big plays.

But "that" IMO can be attributed to all the rookies and first year Jaguars on the Defensive side.

Blown coverages and being out of position comes with experience...both in the NFL and our system in general,and

maybe more importantly working together as an 11 man unit in particular.

What did we have like 7 of the 11 were first year Jags?

One more Camp together with only 1-2 changes in personnel and I have a feeling those communication/blown coverage issues will

improve immensely.

The Defense will also improve,obviously....if/when the pass rush becomes more consistent.

Something else that should improve on its own with another preseason together and even moreso If we add a guy like Garrett/Allen.
