You hate to see a team shut out in a half, but it happens. I can't judge Olson based on a half. In addition Gus's teams were always unprepared. I judge Olson on his entire body of work (which is below average), and his inability to address Blake's mechanics during the season. Based on that, I am glad the bubblescreen greasehead is gone. When Hackett took over as OC he went up against some tough teams, but because bobblehead was the gameplanner and inadequately prepared his teams Hackett's offense looked similar to an Olson offense. Once Marrone took over, we saw a difference in how the team was prepared. I would love to see a Hackett offense against a top defense with a team prepared by Marrone. Once that happens, I will have an opinion on him as an OC.
