People were asking if we were going to get rid of the dog before we brought the baby home, and we had so many questions they even had us a little bit nervous. She used to sleep in the doorway of the nursery and she'd come and get us as soon as our daughter would start to stir, before we even heard the baby monitor. It was a very, VERY, sad day when we that dog passed away.
