The thing is, if your #1 guy on the board is very close to a similar player/players who are projected to go later, it would be much smarter in my eyes to trade down and add more picks. In my opinion, I see no standout "can't miss" players in this draft. I see a lot of really good players who can help us at a variety of positions, but none that are "must haves", especially with the #4 overall pick. I think it would be such a waste if we used the #4 pick on a guy when we could possibly trade down, add picks to fill more needs and select very similar players to what we could have gotten at #4. |
