Eddie Jackson in the middle rounds?

Quote:But again if you trade too far down, those evenly matched players could be gone by the time we pick again. That's why you have to be smart about it. If you know the guy you are likely to select at #4 is very similar to a player that could go anywhere from the #13 to #20 range, you can't just trade down to #26 and expect him to be there. You have to be selective with the trade offers you accept. Me personally, I don't see all that much separating Jamal Adams from Eddie Jackson. You should probably be able to get Jackson with our #35 overall selection. I also have similar grades on RB's Fournette, Foreman and Perine. In fact, I have Foreman as my #1 RB. We could probably still draft Fournette if we traded down no further than #7. We could probably select Foreman by trading down as far as #20 and Perine is probably going to be selected anywhere from the mid 2nd to late 3rd round. Interior offensive linemen on the other hand are not all created equal. I have Feeney, Lamp, Elflein and Pocic pretty much head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the class. They are all likely to be gone by the middle of the 2nd round though. We are in desperate need of help at the OG spot, so if we could trade down and somehow pick up a late 1st or high 2nd round pick, we could address this critical position with a day 1 starter. |
