Investigate away. There are instances of voter fraud. People have been arrested for it. But on a massive scale that only Trump and his diehard followers believes happened is asinine to even buy into.

So in other words, you acknowledge that there is a voter fraud problem that needs to be solved.  In other words, there is nothing really wrong with what the President is doing.

 

Should the government "take control" of federal elections?  Not really.  It should be left up to the states.  However, the federal government should mandate that the states adhere to certain rules/guidelines starting with positive ID.  I would love to see the election of senators go back to the states rather than the population as designed in The Constitution.

 

Senators should not be elected by the public directly.  They should be elected by the state.  That means that they are elected by state government.

 

The House of Representatives exists to represent "the people".

 

The Senate exists to represent the states.
