And there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with that.

 

Just because something exists, doesn't give anyone a "right" to what they cannot afford.  A Camry will affordably, comfortably, and reliably provide transportation just as well as a Rolls Royce does.  We must live within our means.  Forcing people to buy more car than they need at prices they cannot afford is precisely what went wrong in much of the "logic" behind the failed law.

 

That's one of the things that was so monstrous about 0bamacare (note the sellout lefties have now spun it into ACA to save that failed legacy) is that costs and premiums rose for those who could least afford it.

 

I think one of the other problems (and a larger part of the problem) is that people don't understand the difference between "health care" and "health insurance".  The two are not the same.  Health insurance shouldn't pay for a pap smear just like auto insurance shouldn't pay for an oil change or homeowner's insurance shouldn't pay to fix a leaking faucet.

 

Tax free health savings accounts that can be shared within a family and passed on to heirs would be a better solution for health care.
