Off topic, I get the expression, but I don't understand the 3 hots and a cot.. Unless you're in federal prison I suppose..


I know in county you get cold powdered eggs for breakfast and nasty bologna sammiches for lunch.. Dinner was usually hot though. Fake Salisbury steak with gravy and mashed taters with an orange or apple and a pudding cup.


Plus it helps to have money in your commissary account for snacks and stuff.
