Abnormal and deviant? I'm not going there with this type of thinking as you have obvious opinions on gay people.

The decision was made to have sex with that person. For whatever reason, that person was attracted (emotionally or physically) to the other party. 

 

Their mind allowed them to feel this attraction....

No one is "getting away" with anything. My belief is that you're born gay. Gay = equals atrracted to the same sexxx, Anyone can sleep with anyone because they may just be sexually free, or whatever. I've had straight friends who I've felt would be swayed after a drink or what not, but they're not gay. I think some people, using the example you gave where a child was molested, 'may' seek out anyone that they feel would make them feel whole or accepted. It may have nothing to do with attraction at all. 

 

The majority aren't gay because they were abused though, which was sort of my point.
