Young kids throw 2x4 at President Trumps motorcade
|
Quote:It's been happening long before Trump came into office. The decline of respect in this country has been going on for the past 30 years, at least compared to what it was when I was in middle school which was in the 80's. Trump's behavior doesn't help matters but you cannot blame it all on him. It starts at home. In addition to the home, public schools public indoctrination centers are teaching and encouraging this kind of behavior. Children are not taught about pride in their country and what this country has achieved in it's relatively short life-span. They don't know or appreciate the enormous sacrifices that our forefathers went through or the generations before us went through in order to make this country what it is. At the start of WWII, many real men as young as 15, 16 or 17 years of age lied about their age in order to sign up for military service. That happened not only in that war, but in wars previous including the very war that won our freedom and the war that united us. You won't see that nowadays. Today our flag is burned and stomped upon, there are "protests" that take place that involve the destruction of both private and public property and this is deemed as "acceptable" by the far left in our population. We've become an "entitled society" rather than a society of respect. Kids today aren't taught about The Pledge of Allegiance and what it really means. They aren't taught about why we stand up, place our hands over our hearts and/or salute during The National Anthem. You constantly see comments about "old people annoying" somebody, yet those very "old people" probably sacrificed more so the young ignorant punk that makes a comment like that is able to and has the ability to do it. As it relates to this thread, those kids should be punished by means that will help them, not harm them in the future. Winger had it right. Punish them by not only making them do something productive (community service), but also make them write an essay and force them to actually learn. Something like that would change lives for the better and be beneficial to all. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. |
