While I like the player they picked, I'm not sure I like the fit in SF.  They have drafted DT types the last 2-3 years with Arik Armstead and DeForest Buckner last year, I am not sure where Allen fits there.

I think some are being too hard on Williams, who is a better WR prospect than Treadwell last year.  I like the Hooker pick for the tacks, but they could easily go Lattimore or Williams there and still do well.

 

I think the fall of DeShone Kizer in this draft is a reflection that the "experts" like him more than the fans.  I know I am not overly fond of him.

 

That said, with his size and arm strength, and as desperate as teams are for QB, it wouldn't surprise me if he is taken by this point in the actual draft.  In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he is on the board if Arizona took him.  They just signed Leftwich as the new QB coach.  Leftwich like Kizer, is big and was strong armed.  Leftwich and Carson Palmer and Arias can help coach and groom him, and he could be the full time starter in the desert by 2018.
