The 2000 NFL Draft

Every year some weird things happen in the draft. Punter Ray Guy was a first round pick. Kicker Mike Nugent was picked in the second round by a team without a Round 1 pick (the Jets). And this year the Vikings had three first round picks.
But the craziest thing to ever happen in the draft was probably the Eli Manning/Phillip Rivers trade. |
