Gruden saying in 3 to 4 years this will be a pretty good qb class.

Quote:That completely depends on where these kids end up getting drafted. Personally. I don't think any of them are worth a high first round pick.

Trubisky doesn't have enough starting experience for me to feel comfortable enough in San Francisco or Chicago to take him that high.

Mahomes has the right size, speed and arm strength that you want to see in a QB but is he a product of Texas Tech's wild offensive scheme?

Watson had an impressive game against Alabama but his body of work does raise some eyebrows when you look at his high interception rates. That's going to need to be toned back.

Kizer I keep seeing thrown around here and there but I've seen this kid play a few times and I was not impressed at all. He was even benched at one point for poor play.

Those are your big four listed above. Personally. I think teams should be patient and wait it out. This QB class reeks of 2011 again. Accept I don't see a Cam Newton in this class worthy of being selected in the top ten.

I think we're looking at a bunch of Locker's , Ponder's and Gabbert's in this class. All of these kids are the type to sit and develop. And 9 times out of 10 when a QB goes early they're more than likely going to be thrown into the fire before they're ready.

There's really only two or three QB's I'd be happy with if Coughlin and Co. decided to pick one up in day three of the draft. I'd say between RD3 - RD5. These three QB's below could be developed nice and easy and turn out better than those big four above.

Davis Webb out of California

Jerod Evans out of Virginia Tech

Chad Kelly out of Ole' Miss

Take any of those three guys and let them sit for the next year or two to develop and learn the system. I think they can be decent starters. Kelly I am a little bit concerned with. But Webb and Evans would be fine choices.

That's what I think about this class, too.  Nearly point for point.
