Highlights from season ending press conference with Caldwell and Bradley

Quote:At the same time, you can't have QB fear.  Right now our starting Quarterback for next year is Chad Henne.  He'll probably end up starting the year.  And that's fine.  But having a guy who can beat him out would be nice.  If you keep waiting for THE guy, you might wind up like the Jaguars are now.  Where choosing Blaine Gabbert will set you back a few years.
Actually right now the starting QB is BG unless they resign henne. Caldwell comes from the Polian line of thinking Big Arm Tall Pocket passers, This draft only Bridgwater might fit that (not really tall) the other high ranking QBs are mostly mobile QB and i dont think Caldwell likes the Running QB type. I may be wrong but he may grab someone like Mccarron or Murry in the later rounds if they are around or find him a nice FA to sign.

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
