Sometimes the Oline is so bad that you don't actually know how good the RBs really are. I agree that Ivory and Yeldon did not play well last year but let's not act like they had big holes to run through. Cook and LF need lines to run behind in the NFL. Just like every other RB in the league.

 

This draft is also ridiculously loaded at RB. Don't waste a top 5 pick on a RB when another gem will be there in the 3rd round.

 

 

Are you seriously trying to compare Ivory and Yeldon to Gurley? Next, you'll be comparing Blake Bortles to Tom Brady. Yes, we need to fix the O-Line, that is obvious. I'm a huge advocate for signing Kevin Zeitler in free agency and moving Cann back to LG, which is more natural for him. I'd also love to draft Taylor Moton for RT. With that said though, let's not be delusional and pretend Ivory and Yeldon are great RB's. Ivory had one really good year in New York, but he still lacks burst. At his best, he was a "4 yards and a cloud of dust" type runner. Since then, has gotten older he suffered a mysterious illness from which he doesn't even look like the same guy. As far as Yeldon, he was garbage when we drafted him and he has proven to be garbage for the Jaguars. We need a premier runner. In my opinion that has to be someone who runs with power and breakaway speed. Those types of RB's are few and far between. In this draft that means getting a guy like Fournette, Foreman and Perine. I would be happy with any one of those guys, but if we draft another one dimensional runner like Ivory or Yeldon, that would just be a waste.
