you're supposed to fix the offensive line.  there is no lineman worth taking in the top 5 so why not get a RB?  We will spend in free agency to get a guard (or two) and can use our 2nd round pick on a lineman if he's worth it.  Same thing next year, maybe someone is "worth" taking in the first round.

RB is a luxury pick to me in the first round.

It says... we're so good everywhere else on this team that we're going to take a chance that this top 10 RB is going to be closer to AP or Freddy T than T Rich, Enis, DMac, Brown, Benson, Cadillac, Felix Jones....

 

I think a team with a secure QB position (we don't have), and at least solid O-line play (we don't, shaky and sporadic at best) can go RB in round 1...

Which is why we see a lot of teams tend to do it later in round 1 with teams like Nola, GB, recently.

 

Zeke looks to be worth it... but the Boys line is one of the best, maybe ever...

 

Top 5 RBs... man... you better be sure...
