22 TDS is good, not great


Numbers are not the end all, but if a college QB is going to be good at the next level, you expect to see really good numbers. Their level of competition has not been the best either. I would expect to see a better TD/interception ratio.


Im not saying dont draft him; im saying getting him at 3 is a reach
 

All statistics are misleading. Scouts break down every play to see where those numbers are coming from because the numbers alone are meaningless.

 

But if you have to make a big deal about numbers, think about this one: his time on the 40-yard dash.
