Solomon Thomas is what NFL evaluators thought Dante Fowler was, even though it was obvious he wasn't. If Fowler is a top 3 pick and we don't take Thomas 4th overall there is something seriously wrong with the NFL scouting evaluation process. Thomas can literally rush in any way you want, from the left or right side, from the inside, standing up or with his hands in the ground, he can beat the tackle around the edge or to the inside of them. And he is a savant in the run game. He is Justin Houston 2.0.

Thomas has all the traits of an edge rusher. It really just speaks more to how good he is that he can also legitimately play on the inside so well Stanford put him there because he was also their best interior rusher.
