Assange did have a hard on for Clinton. So that's fair. I'll give the people that one. But for those same people crying that he only targets the Democratic party all I can say is give it time. We did have a democratic leader in office since 2008. Like it or not, Clinton was a corrupt and lying political figure who also cut her teeth in her husband's administration and the last administration. 

 

Wikileaks didn't launch until 2006. And in fairness they did attempt to expose Bush for his aide against Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. They were still in their infancy at the time. Social media was nowhere near as big as it is today. Twitter was still developing around the same time. Youtube was nowhere as big as it is today. Nor was Facebook, etc. As the information age developed and social networking evolved we saw a huge expansion of Wikileaks and various hacking groups. 

 

Trump, if he's foolish enough to do things he knows he shouldn't do. Or, if his administration is involved in shady dealings during his presidency and leaves a paper trail to said dealings. Someone will find it. And someone will leak it. There's always been a movement that's attempted to reveal the truth to the people. In virtually every generation. It's just been a lot easier to spread the truth and get the message out there thanks to the internet. 

 

Give it time though.
