But they are just opinions - and shaky ones at that. Prisons are full? Talk to your side - you know, the "law and order" folks. Taxes exorbitant? Compared to who/what? Political class out of control? Your president is leading the charge. And your party is in control of all three branches, in case you haven't noticed. Need a bc to vote? You buying the false news accounts about voter fraud? You get your news via Trump tweets? Not a good idea. And I doubt Marx said any such thing, but it sounds good and meets your needs. And yeah, what he "said" in the 1880s certainly is relevant now. You're really reaching.

 

You can choose to be as afraid as you want. Just be careful you don't drift into Dakota territory and start looking for monsters under the bed. Liberal Alert! OMG!

 

And why so pessimistic? I thought the Age of Trump was going to make us the Shining City on a Hill, or some such silliness. Chin up and all that.
