The city decided to do another RFP to include the Met Park land in a hope to increase the chance at better proposals.


We shall see this week if adding the extra land actually helped encourage better proposals. I'd say it's a safe bet that it is Khan's land to lose.


The major hang up was the remediation cost of the soil but with Khan's latest proposal that section of land would be used as a park, which would allow them to not have to pay for a soil cleanup. Basically the Shipyards and Met Park are going to swap each other lol.
