You cannot base your judgment on the way a player jumps around, gets excited, waves at the fans, etc.   I'm not saying Manziel will be a bust or that he won't be an NFL superstar.   But what I see in this thread is a lot of what made people all excited about Tebow.  

 

The Jags will be at his pro day, and they will see his velocity and accuracy, they will interview him and assess his football IQ, they will investigate him, they will watch film.   In short, they will do their due diligence and compare him to all the other players in the draft.   They will not get caught up in the way a player jumps up and down on the sidelines.   They will not get all caught up in the kind of "intangibles" that were so much a part of Tim Tebow.

 

There's too much excitement in this thread.   You have to be cold-bloodedly analytical to assess this guy.
