I agree with you on Kirk as well, but we are on the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to Bortles. Yes, he had an "off" year compared to his outstanding campaign in his 2nd year - but we can not ditch him on some impulsive reaction. 

 

If that were the case, the Giants would have let go of Eli, Steelers cutting Roethlisberger, etc, etc.
