Whether anybody likes it or not, I think it's pretty clear what's most likely going to happen this coming season at the QB position.

 

Bortles is going to get every chance to flat out sink, or swim this year. There's nothing in FA and I don't see any QBs in the draft being able to beat him out. Some decent looking developmental guys, but they're exactly that.

 

Next year's QB class looks to be much better than this year's class. Find out which Bortles is the real Bortles this coming year. Is he Closer to the 2015 one, or closer to the 2016 one.

 

That's where we're at and personally don't see it really changing. You have to really make sure Bortles is, or isn't that guy. I'd rather wait one year too long and find it he isn't really the guy, rather than cut him a year early and have him flourish with his next team.
