She slapped Mixon, he broke her face in 5 places, broke her nose, her sinuses, she was messed up.

Greg Hardy threw a girl into a bathtub and bruised her back and face. (Awful but in terms of injuries, i think Mixon did more damage)


Both men are unrepentant about beating women but Mixon gets a pass because of his age.

There is a difference between men and women. Women slap sometimes, you don't break a 110 pound woman's face for slapping you. He showed no concern for her well being after she was out cold on the floor. Later on he says he didn't regret anything.


Why do we need to keep making excuses for this kind of behavior. It's all cute and harmless when they are 20, by the time they are 25, they are greg hardy.

No one is making excuses, no one is condoning what he did, the point is the incident was 3 years ago and by all accounts he's been a great kid since then, again, is it impossible for people to change? I've never struck a woman but I did have big time anger issues as a teenager and was subsequently punished (sent to juvenile detention) because of it, that experience completely changed my life for the better.


To sit here and act like people can't change and say "every young man that hits a woman will turn into Greg Hardy" is incredibly narrow minded, ignorant, and flat out false. We love to judge these days, but get pissed off when people judge our transgressions. Here's a life tip, until you've walked a mile in the shoes of others don't judge, all we can do is give love and understanding to those who have made mistakes (which is all of us) as it helps them overcome their own issues. There's nothing more pompous than people who pretend they've never done anything wrong.
