It's going to be fun to watch unfold. We're getting a playmaker no matter what.

 

It does look more and more like Fournette, regardless of the first 3 picks, for a couple of reasons:

 

1)All the talk from the top brass about building a running game, and so far, we've done nothing about it.  Building a running game requires offensive linemen and a running back.  None of the prospective offensive linemen are rated as top 10 picks.  Although I have seen Fournette slipping out of the top 5 according to some well known draft experts, he's still rated above all the offensive linemen.

 

2)Our moves in free agency have left us with basically just the running game as unfinished business. 

 

ON THE OTHER HAND, Fournette showed up at the Combine out of shape, and that might rub Coughlin the wrong way. 

 

I sure wish we could trade down.   Because it looks like if we go offense at pick #4, it'll have to be a reach.
