And then to make it even funnier, they talk about 'communists' as a bad thing, when they espouse the exact same beliefs the USSR had. If you already think the government should control and run its citizens life, why in the world would you be opposed to the system that did exactly what you think is a good idea. I am concerned about what the US will be like in 10-20 years for sure.

 

I feel the same way. Even though I am a millennial. Oddly enough though these views have pushed the next generation into being projected as the most conservative group of people in decades. Generation Z. They're projected to be more conservative than the baby boomers at this point in time. They'll be able to [BAD WORD REMOVED] talk, [BAD WORD REMOVED] post and fact check better than the best of us as it stands today. I am happy to hear that if that turns out being the case in due time.

 

Our country needs a serious reform when it comes to Big Government. I would actually like to go to our national voting and local voting booths and FEEL like it's truly a republic again. That it's a true democracy. I think both major parties will have to change up their approaches within the next 10 - 20 years for sure. Otherwise they will continue to lose the little bit of credibility and grips on their voters that have today. After all of the lies, corruption and scandals being exposed. No one can take these career politicians and suit and ties full of wind seriously anymore. 

 

God only knows where this country could be today had the information age and social networking age had been developed in the early 1900's on the scale that it stands on today.
