What are we really talking about here?  Women who identify as men dress as men and look like men.   Men who identify as women dress like women and look like women.   If we mandate that women who identify as men must use the ladies' room, then we will have people who look like men walking into the ladies' room.  And if we mandate that men who identify as women must use the men's room, then we will have people who look like women walking into the men's room.  Is that what people really want? 


 

It doesn't bother me either way, but I don't think people realize what they're insisting on. 

 

I don't mind it being decided at the state level.  It's too confusing to say we understand exactly what we're doing and there ought to be a federal law about it.   The states are the perfect place to try things out and see how they work before we decide if we want to make this a federal thing. 

Regarding the highlighted statement, I can say that in my one experience when my girlfriend accidentally followed me into the men's room, there were a lot of men shouting encouragement. So based on the one anecdotal evidence I have, the answer is yes.
