In any case this whole thing is a non-issue. Either Trump was right or he was mistaken. So what? Even if Obama recorded Trump or his staff, the IRS targeting of conservative organizations was a much bigger abuse of government force that occurred during Obama's administration, and that was swept away as no big deal.

 

Now you're doing the right thing.  Take my advice and just. walk. away.   Don't defend this.  It's a loser. 

 

1) Don't fight battles that aren't worth fighting.

2) Don't fight battles that you can't win. 

 

Let's hope, for the sake of the country, Trump takes my advice, too.  He's just digging a hole for himself.   I think the country is better off fighting about issues, and not whether the Commander in Chief is mentally competent.
