Coming out of college he reminds me a lot of Reggie Bush. Both guys were superior athletes coming out of college and had decent size with great open field ability and speed. Both guys were versatile to the extent that sometimes you didn't know where to place them. Like Bush. Is he better suited to be a primary RB or should he be lined out wide as a WR more often than not? 

 

The only thing you can say for Christian is that he's proven more in the ground game. Unlike Reggie when he came out of the USC he was splitting time with Lendale White and he only had a little over 400 career carries.

 

Christian has about a full year more of carries on him with two pretty big back-to-back years on the ground. He's also proven himself more valuable in the kick/punt return game as well. Something we didn't see a lot out of Reggie at USC. 

 

I still think nobody should sleep on this guy. Breaking Barry Sander's NCAA single season all-purpose mark is a feat that shouldn't be ignored. His family background and pedigree of pretty impressive athletes on both sides of his family should also not be ignored. This kid is a gamer.

 

And, like a few black NFL players and analysts have said. Whether anybody likes it or not. With his career numbers, showing at the combine and pedigree. If he were black. He's probably a top five or ten pick. No questions or doubts about it. 

 

He's a very interesting prospect and it's pretty hard to peg him where he could end up in this draft. I honestly do not see him falling out of the first round though. I just don't see it. I could see him going as early as 15 to the indy clots. Wouldn't even rule out John Elway taking him at 20 for his Broncos.

 

You could argue Detroit might like him one pick later at 21. Certainly should be in play with the Giants and Raiders now between 23 & 24. You have SEA at 26. KC at 27. GB at 29 is possible. NO now with NE's pick at 32 could even take him. 

 

It'll be interesting to see where the kid ends up. I think he's a really good player and he's probably fixing to be the next Jordy Nelson at the RB position. Meaning, he's a white guy at a skill position doing big things that fools overlooked because he doesn't fit the modern trend.
