Yes, what if McKinley drops to round 2 due to his shoulder injury? He's the guy I'd love to see drop to the Jaguars if they don't take either Allen or Thomas in the 1st round. I realize he does different things, but can't see them taking 2 defensive linemen right away with their needs on offense.

The best scenerio here would be:

Trade back to pick 8 with Carolina (who wants L.F.) and take O.J. Howard unless Allen falls.

Round 2: McKinley with pick 35 and Dawkins/Feeney with Carolina's 2nd rounder.

Round 3: Definitely take a running back and maybe even trade back up to the end of the 2nd if there's a run at this position.

Why I LOVE this scenerio:

1. Jags get difference-making tight end who does it all.

2. They get the most explosive pass-rusher not named Garrett who can be worked into the rotation immediately.

3. They still get immediate upgrade on the offensive line. By adding Albert and this pick, the O. Line will be fine. Parnell should improve and if Dawkins is the pick they still have security at this position.

4. The running back class is so deep that they can still get a good one at the top of the 3rd. Kamara or Mack would be my favorites to work into the rotation with Ivory. Yeldon has been a big disappointment and his playing time will be decreased.

Coughlin significantly upgraded the defense in free agency and this draft effectively addresses all the offensive needs except for q.b. (a whole other story). Add in a potentially difference-making pass rusher and the Jaguars win another draft!
