It rubs me the wrong way that the NFL hasn't banned him outright. They're continuing to deliver the same message to young footballers everywhere: it doesn't matter how heinous the act, if you are talented with a football you'll get another chance.
Watch the video. The NFL blacklisted Ray Rice to try and send a message, but it rang hollow because the guy was at the end already. He was more remorseful and did less damage than Mixon too. It's crazy to think a team is going to draft him with that video out there. He's gonna have a big target on him too; I hope we stay far far away, and I'm confident we will. |
