Jabrill Peppers vs Myles Jack
|
With all the Peppers hype since his combine/pro day, I can't help but draw Myles Jack comparisons. Peppers currently projects as a hybrid safety/linebacker, similar to how people viewed Jack coming out last year. Since then, Jack seems to have settled into an OLB role and is viewed as a potential long term solution at MLB in Jacksonville. Both players were lined up all over their respective defenses and had roles on other sides of the ball (Peppers as returner/RB and Jack as RB).
Here are some of their numbers: Physical comparison: Jack: 6'1 - 245lbs - 10 1/4" hands Peppers 5'11 213lbs - 9 5/8" hands 40 time: Jack: did not run Peppers: 4.46 Bench press: Jack: 19 reps Peppers: 19 reps Vertical: Jack: 40" Peppers: 35.5" Broad jump: Jack: 10'4 Peppers: 10'8 How do you view Peppers as a prospect compared to Jack coming out last year? What kind of defensive scheme will best suit him? We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
