FBGP's Building Through the NFL Draft: Jaguars
|
Quote:http://footballgameplan.com/fbgps-buildi...e-jaguars/ It's sure been a while since the Czar last graced us with his presence. I'll comment on your mock... 1. OT Cam Robinson - the Jaguars have brought him in for a visit, but your the first to suggest they might take him at #4 overall. We've been thinking the visit was more about the possibility he falls to the early part of round two. 2. RB Dalvin Cook would be a blockbuster second round pick if he fell. Duval would literally explode. You're right that he'd be a steal at the spot... perhaps the steal of the draft. 3. CB Cordea Tankersley in round three might challege Cook for the steal of the draft. I've thought about taking him at #35, so to get him in round three would be out of this world. Do you really think he'll fall out of round two? 4. QB Josh Dobbs - If Webb, Peterman and Kaaya are gone, than I can see a guy like Dobbs. Do you like Dobbs better than Jerod Evans? I might wait a round and see if Dobbs or Evans is there in round five. In round four in this mock, I can see a TE like Shaheen, Kittle or Roberts. 5. CB Ashton Lampkin - ok... but two CBs? 6. NT Ralph Green III - Interesting... This is the first I've heard his name, but I've been looking into potential NTs in rounds five through seven who might be able to come in and rotate with Abry Jones. He just might fit this bill. Other names I've considered are Montravius Adams, Stevie Tu'iklolavatu, Elijah Qualls and Lowell Lotulelei. 7a. WR Speedy Noil - He'll need to at least beat out Bryan Walters, but if he sticks it would make our WRs even more stacked. I'll take your work on how good he is as I've not exactly looked at the WRs in this draft. Simply put, I haven't anticipated the Jaguars drafting one. 7b. SS Jamal Carter Sr - I can see him as depth behind Church.
