CB is not a position to be going in the top 5, we have other holes, CB might be out strongest spot on the team right now, WR prob is better

You could argue that teams are in nickel 70% of the time, and nickel backs will play more than a rotational DL, making them more valuable.

 

Plenty of teams have gone CB top 5 and have been rewarded handsomely for it.

 

Now we probably WON'T go CB at 4, to be clear.

 

Just trying to logically make the distinction between investing a lot of capital at DL vs DB.
