Are the Jacksonville Jaguars next in line for relocation to London?
|
The three franchises that recently moved did so for the same reason: to escape a lousy stadium. San Diego and Oakland had years to build a new stadium, and they didn't get it done. St. Louis had a weird escape clause in their lease that allowed the Rams to leave if the EJ Dome wasn't in the top 10 percent of NFL stadiums.
Everbank Field is a very good stadium. More importantly, The city of Jacksonville has been a willing partner in investing in the upgrades. So what valid reason could the NFL give for moving the team? |
