Some of you know that I give more deference to "need" than some of the purists out there when talking about Jags drafting. So, this draft is a little tough for me since there are several scenarios in which the Jags could land good value at #4 that isn't a glaring need, and land great value at #35 that isn't a glaring need. 

 

It makes the roster better - so obviously I can't complain about it going down that way - I just REALLY hope they are able to draft a plug and play upgrade at guard in round 3 or 4 if they pass on one in the second. 

I think this is spot on.

 

Fortunately, from a historical perspective, guards can be found in the 3rd round.

 

On the other hand, OL is such an important need, what I don't want to happen is for there to be a run on the OL before our pick in the 3rd like there was at 2nd round CB in 1998. 

 

There is a part of me that wants to secure at least a good guard in the 2nd, and I would be open to a T and then G or vice versa in 2nd and 3rd round picks.
