IMO the league should ban him from entering the league. Ever. He crushed that girls face and walked off with zero concern. I doubt seriously and others have reported it is not his first beat down of a chick. Dude should be incarcerated. Was he incarcerated or punished at all?. The D.A.'s office says OU freshman football player Joe Mixon will receive a one year deferred sentence in the plea deal.

That means Mixon will not serve any time in jail.

It also won't go on his record. He will have to serve 100 hours of community service and go to cognitive behavior counseling.

Mixon will have to pay about $1,200 in fines and he is suspended for the rest of the football season.
