As was mentioned before, there could be several teams who want to trade up to 4 for a player they covet. However, it does seem like the Panthers and Browns are the most likely trade partners. Realistically, the Jags would get pick 33 to move back eight spots in the 1st round as you have said. My picks would be different, however.

 

12. Dalvin Cook

33. Dan Feeney or Dion Dawkins

I selected Cook over Howard for a couple reasons. Although Howard is clearly the top tight end, this position is incredibly deep and I would expect the Jags to take the best tight end on the board in round 3 (Hodges, Shaheen, Everett), round 4 (Sprinkle, Kittles) or even round 5 (Jonnu Smith).

 

Opinions vary widely on Cook and his stock has certainly dropped. That being said, he and Fournette have the highest ceilings by far (other than possibly McCaffrey) at this position. If they waited until round 2 or later for a running back, there is a big risk the guy may end up like Yeldon- a major disappointment. If the interviews with Cook go well and character is not a big concern this should be the pick.

 

Lawson's stock has also dropped due to medical concerns. He would be a risky pick, but his explosiveness coming off the edge would add greatly to the Jaguars pass rush.
