"Matt Barrow of the Sacramento Bee reported that the Carolina Panthers have been very vocal about their interest. Barrows slightly hedged his position by stating “there is nothing currently in the works”, but with the Panthers sitting at the No. 8 position in the draft themselves, they are in a position to put together a package that could move them up six spots in the draft.
