Hand size for a QB (and a lot of NFL posititons, for that matter) is important. 
 

I was at the NFL Experience when it was in Jacksonville during the Super Bowl. They had a display of NFL quarterbacks hand sizes. I am 6'2 and have normal size hands for my height. My hands were dwarfed by some of them. Jim Kelly and Aikman were two I remember.
