Pre-Draft Schedule Prediction
|
Two versions. First the "Jaguars play up to the level of talent the team has and are well prepared week-in and week-out.
Week 1 - @ Houston Texans-W Week 2 - vs Tennessee Titans-W Week 3 - vs Baltimore Ravens (London)-W Week 4 - @ New York Jets-L Week 5 - @ Pittsburgh Steelers-L Week 6 - vs Los Angeles Rams-W Week 7 - @ Indianapolis Colts-L Week 8 - Bye Week 9 - vs Cincinnati Bengals-L Week 10 - vs Los Angeles Chargers-W Week 11 - @ Cleveland Browns-W Week 12 - @ Arizona Cardinals-L Week 13 - vs Indianapolis Colts-W Week 14 - vs Seattle Seahawks-L Week 15 - vs Houston Texans-W Week 16 - @ San Francisco 49ers-W Week 17 - @ Tennessee Titans-W That would be 10-6, which I believe would be good enough to go to the playoffs out of the AFCS. That's the record with the coaching staff having the team ready in the same manner they were ready for the texans and titans in the last two weeks of last season and the young defenders continue to ascend. Now for the "team is really as bad as their record made them look last season and Bortles implodes" prediction. <div>Week 1 - @ Houston Texans-L Week 2 - vs Tennessee Titans-W Week 3 - vs Baltimore Ravens (London)-L Week 4 - @ New York Jets-L Week 5 - @ Pittsburgh Steelers-L Week 6 - vs Los Angeles Rams-W Week 7 - @ Indianapolis Colts-L Week 8 - Bye Week 9 - vs Cincinnati Bengals-L Week 10 - vs Los Angeles Chargers-L Week 11 - @ Cleveland Browns-W Week 12 - @ Arizona Cardinals-L Week 13 - vs Indianapolis Colts-W Week 14 - vs Seattle Seahawks-L Week 15 - vs Houston Texans-L Week 16 - @ San Francisco 49ers-W Week 17 - @ Tennessee Titans-L That's 5-11, and would probably mean another season of Bortles leading the league in turnovers along with Ivory fumbling it six or seven times. Really I expect closer to 10-6 than 5-11 because I truly believe talent was on the team but being badly wasted by Bradley and Co last season. I think Marrone and Coughlin will put together a team and gameplans that allow the team to actually win some games they've been losing in years past. </div> |
