Meh, it doesn't really matter too much what us fans think, all that really matters is the product we get on the field this year.  

 

Coughlin said he wanted a tough, physical team and that is what he is doing with both the draft and his free agent pickups.  That's why you get Fournette over Cook, Robinson over Lamp, and Smoot over a CB in the 3rd round.  

 

And although I think Petermen is the best choice, I would not be either surprised or disappointed with OG Johnson or TE Butt in round 4.  Both of them are tough, physical players who will help win the line of scrimmage.  

 

SO while the rest of the NFL becomes and more focused on the pass and stopping the pass, we are going old-school with the run/stop the run philosophy.  

 

I'm ok with it - just get us some competitive games and a "chance" at the playoffs.
