Scout.com had him ranked 50th which would be a 2nd round grade.  By no means are any of these rankings the gospel, but not everyone had him as a 4th or 5th round prospect and apparently the Jags front office didn't either.

 

No problem for me on bringing in DE's.  Can never stop trying to improve or add depth at that position.  However, I would have liked to have seen some serious competition be brought in for Blake.  Perhaps serious competition for him doesn't exist in this draft.  I'd still expect to see a guy drafted in the next couple of rounds to be brought in to groom for 2018 in case it becomes evident we'll be parting ways with Blake.  We don't want to be rolling into the 2018 off season without a potential starter on the roster.
