100% correct. I'm so tired of people ONLY looking at Bortles mistakes. The kid has a ZERO margin for error with a #25-32 scoring defense, the worst head coach in NFL history, and NO running game.

 

 

LOOK AT THIS.....

 

Blake Bortles 2016 INT %           =  2.6%

Peyton Manning CAREER INT %= 2.7%

 

 

Bortles mistakes are common for a gunslinger. The problem was always balance; if you're at the top of the league in passes thrown (and you're a gunslinger and not a checkdown specialist like Alex Smith/Dak/or Teddy) then you should lead the league in INTs. 

 

The goal is to have a MJD/Fred Taylor type running game and have Bortles throw the ball 100-150 less times per season.
