Blake looked adequate when Marrone was HC and they started to add a few more wrinkles and begun to run the ball effectively. It's not a stretch to assume improvement because we've seen him play at a high level before and the footage from his workouts with House look good. The question will be, can he sustain that throughout the year if we keep him upright and lighten his load? That's why I agree with TC to give Blake a true chance to grab this franchise by the horns. I think he delivers for us and for his sake he better. I'm willing to be proven wrong on this and eat my crow later.



My point was the defense was already adequate last year and they brought in major difference makers this offseason to help them transition into an elite unit. Remember, I fully expect the young guys (Jones, Smith, Jack, Fowler, Yannick, Jalen) to take another step up this season, especially the FSU boys. You won't have many complaints about this defense, I'm telling you! Gone are Cyps terrible angles and Odrick getting hurt and being a total non factor.
