They are not adults and are not voters.  They have no concept of taxes, foreign policy, health insurance, etc..
 

Yeah, most kids are thinking about trying to get a girlfriend, a first kiss, going to the movies on a Friday or Saturday night, heck and in this day and age, maybe even getting laid.
