So true.

 

I went to Boy's State as a yute.  At the time, I was not a fan of Douglas Wilder.

 

He spoke at one of our events, and it was one of the best political speeches I've ever heard...  but only because I was willing to listen.  I became a fan of Douglas Wilder, even though I did not agree with 100% of his politics.

 

No one will ever have a representative they agree with 100%.

 

Do not assume others agree with politicians they do not "hate" 100% either, it's not a binary function.  It's not healthy to only love or only hate everything about a politician.
