What is the minimum Fred Taylor needs for the Hall of Fame?

Fred is, by far, the better RB. But good luck finding many RBs that are more consistent than Gore.

Gore only had one good year, but he's had so many decent seasons. Had he not missed a few games in 2010, he would've had 9 1,000+ yard seasons. He fell 33 yard short from making it 11 1,000+ yard seasons.

I don't think Gore is as talented as some of the HoF running backs, but Emmitt Smith pretty much made it because of consistency. I could see Gore playing 2 or 3 more seasons. In comparison, Gore has almost 1,500 fewer carries than Smith in 2 fewer seasons.

James got the recognition because of Peyton, and he was more productive because of him, too. Fred never had a Manning-level QB to help him.

I don't think James is nearly as successful without him. Which is probably why his production fell when he left for Arizona and retired soon after.
